As I said, I’m not a fan of coloring pens and paints. These treats are reserved for school and play groups. My house recently renovated after someone painted a wall in my dining room. Children are losing patience with crayons rather quickly – they just do not think a good color, and colored pencils are preferred. Even the latter is great for collages too – glue from flour and water are very cheap and quick to wash and wear easily.
When children feel in the mood to be crafty, tired of relying on the hands and feet of his brothers, is another favorite for the kids to make and decorate paper airplanes, and the kids want to make macaroni necklaces. Pasta seems to work well, and sometimes I let them get some paint – but only in small quantities, and an old shirt should be worn to prevent the father’s clothes were stained.
